Shipments of U.S. turkey soar through first three quarters, broiler ex

U.S. poultry exports have reached the three-quarter pole in what’s turned out to be a good year for turkey.
Exports of U.S. turkey were up significantly in volume and value for the January through September period, according to new trade data released by USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
There also was positive news regarding broiler exports, which gained in volume for the first nine months.
Egg exports (table eggs plus egg products in shell egg equivalent) fell 4.5 percent in volume for the period, and were down 16.6 percent in value.
