USAPEEC's new trade statistics dashboard

July 3, 2023

USAPEEC is excited to announce the launch of a new and improved Trade Statistics Dashboard with import data and visualizations. This will give better insight in the trade volume and market share of U.S. chicken, turkey, duck, and egg products in more than 100 export markets.

The new dashboard provides monthly and year-to-date data for the current marketing year, as well as 5-year and 10-year annual data and trends. Interactive features allow you to analyze data by industry or for specific products, in individual markets or regions.

Additionally, the USAPEEC Trade Regulation Database now has a new platform with improved security and user experience.

As a reminder, the Trade Regulation Database provides market intelligence and key regulatory requirements for U.S. poultry, egg, and related product exports to 46 markets. For each market, a team of analysts at Bryant Christie Inc. maintains information on the following topics:

Import requirements (including customs procedures, registration, certifications, and current product bans)

Labeling and packaging requirements (for retail- and bulk-packaged product)

Specific tariff and tax information for all egg and poultry product HS Codes

Cold chain infrastructure

Trademark laws

The new platform is also home to the FoodChainID Pesticide MRL Database, putting all regulatory information in one place.

Finding the information you need is straightforward and intuitive, and each report provides a clear summary of requirements with ample links to regulations, official guidance documents, and other resources.

We encourage everyone to establish their login on the new platform and to keep this resource in mind any time questions related to export requirements arise.

You may receive an automated email from BCI in the coming days to set your password, which will be separate from the USAPEEC website. You will access the dashboard through the USAPEEC Members Only section via link to the new platform.

If you do not receive this email, please contact either Ben Morris Bmorris@usapeec.org or Renan Zhuang RZhuang@usapeec.org to obtain a password.

In the coming weeks, Bryant Christie will conduct a live webinar to demonstrate the new system, answer questions, and hear feedback to ensure the Trade Regulation Database continues to meet the needs of USAPEEC members.
