Mexican anti-inflation decree published

This week, Mexico formally published in its Federal Register a decree intended to ease price inflation on 24 main food items, including chicken meat and table eggs.
The policy will be in place until at least next February but could be extended to December 2023.
The decree is the second announced by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador as part of the Opening Agreement Against Inflation and Scarcity (APECIC) program.
