Importers, traders recognized at USAPEEC dinner in Kazakhstan

USAPEEC sponsored an annual gala dinner, “Friends of American Food and Agriculture in Kazakhstan,” organized by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) regional office in cooperation with the U.S. General Consulate Almaty. Importers and traders who most contributed to the development of Central Asian markets for U.S. poultry were presented with USDA commemorative plates.

USAPEEC greeted the participants with a welcoming word from USAPEEC CEO and President Greg Tyler, served a Texan jambalaya and Kazakh traditional kebabs made of U.S. chicken leg quarters, and shared a brochure featuring several recipes of Central Asian pilaf with chicken leg quarters meat.
