HPAI continues to spread across U.S.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) continued its sprawl this week across the U.S. The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) confirmed the presence of HPAI in a commercial chicken breeder flock

 in Sequoyah County, Okla.

HPAI also was confirmed in two more Wisconsin turkey flocks and in a new county in Pennsylvania, in addition to new cases in commercial turkey flocks in Minnesota and South Dakota for which there were limited details.
