Duck seminars for HRI chefs in Colombia

USAPEEC, with sponsorship from Indiana Soybean, conducted two duck seminars for HRI chefs in Colombia, recently in Bogota and Cartagena.

The duck exporters and importers were also invited to these seminars so they can, in turn, invite their clients or internal work teams.

The event´s objective was to provide technical education on how to cook U.S. duck and the benefits of using it in their businesses for Colombia’s market. Chef Daniel Riveros (ambassador for USAPEEC and U.S. duck specialist) was the head speaker. There were 130 participants in the event in total, and more than 85 percent were from the HRI sector.
