USAPEEC hosts warehouse poultry promotions in Congo

USAPEEC continues to host warehouse poultry promotions at large cold storage/ wholesale facilities in Pointe-Noire. The campaign began on July 1 and will continue until the end of August. The campaign is diverse and promotes poultry to various sectors of the market – large retailers and wholesalers, the market vendors who sell poultry by the piece, consumers who purchase whole cartons and divide it between three or four families, and taxi drivers who are incentivized by the warehouses to bring buyers to purchase U.S. poultry products.

USAPEEC visited the Congo from Aug. 14-21 and attended the promotions. Activations took place at the warehouses daily, while the Chicken Village hosted guests on the weekends, promoting high-quality American chicken meals cooked with a Congolese flair.
