Broiler, egg exports again soar in volume and in value for January/Feb

U.S. broiler and egg exports maintained their strong pace through February of this year, growing in both volume and value, according to new trade data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service. 

China, Cuba, Angola, and the Philippines led the way, scoring tremendous gains in broiler exports from the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, strength in South Korea and Canada propelled egg exports. 

Turkey exports were off due mainly to lower U.S. turkey production.
